Yup. It's The Beginning Of The Study Leave. And The Greatest Way To 'Celebrate' It Is With Self Induced Insomnia By Gaming All The Way To 1am When Some Housemates Who Stayed Awake To Study Felt Hungry And The Few Of Us Decided To Go To Sect. 14 For Midnight McD. Crapped A Whole Lot Of Far-Fetched Nonsense Including Plans From Sem Break Vacations All The Way To Our Kampar Accommodation, All The Way Till 4am. Proud And Sick Of Myself. That's Another Day Without Sufficient Sleep.
Slept At Around 5 And Woke Around 6 To Get To The Last Class Of The Semester. Got Back Home That Day And DotA-ed With Housemates All The Way Till 6am Again When We Were Supposed To Go To Kampar Campus For A Tour At 9 That Morning.
What I Think About Kampar? HUGE!!!
And I Mean Like... DAMN FRIGGIN HUGE!!!
Why? Well, Firstly, The Distance From The Nearest Hostel Is Like A 25 Minutes Jog Instead Of My Usual Walk, And Students As Well As Lecturers Drive To Campus, But Cycle From Block To Block Between Classes. And Their Lecture Halls Are Real Lecture Halls; With The Kind Of Seats Like In Stadiums And Cinemas. Even Their Tutorial Classrooms Are Half The Size Of Our PJ 'Lecture Halls'. Canteen's At Least 5 PD Block Canteens (Not To Mention The Price Being Only 70% Of City Price) And Another 3-Storey Library Coming Up Either By The Time We Get There Or A Year After That.
The Catch? Rain Everyday. Had My Share Of Experience With It Yesterday During The Tour, In Which Hindered Explorations Dramatically Due To Large Open Areas There Without Shed. Wonder How Am I To Walk/Cycle There...
